DURING THE month there were 3 narcotic offenses (8 in August), 6 minors involved in liquor law violations viola-tions and 2 violations of public intoxication. in-toxication. Four bad checks (fraud I forgery) were reported, I obscene l harassing phone call and I case of indecent exposure. UNDER THE classification of non-specific offenses - services the following were reported: 10 suspicious suspi-cious vehicles, 6 suspicious persons per-sons (II last month), 7 family -neighbor disputes, 3 prowlers, 2 missing persons, 2 animal bites, 4 complaints having to do with animals anim-als and 2 recoveries of lost or stolen property. Other services that our police department were involved in were 1 1 intrusion fire alarms, 2 warrants served, and 2 summons served. Year-to-date on these particular services there have been 71 intrusion intru-sion - fire alarms, 50 warrants and 22 summons served. UNDER THE category of "Assists" the West Bountiful Police Department helped other police agencies 33 times, assisted the fire department twice in our city, helped 17 citizens and 3 medical emergencies. Also in Spetember there were 28 adult arrests (32 in August) with a total so far of 146 in 1984. This compares to 172 for January - September Sep-tember 1983. There were 2juvenilc arrests during September as compared com-pared to 30 in August. TRAFFIC summary for the month is as follows: II driving-under-the-influence of alcohol, I reckless driving, 5 abandoned vehicles and 6 misc. traffic complaints. com-plaints. State tax violations showed 17 impounds with 14 in August because be-cause of drunk drivers cars having to be impounded. THERE WERE 80 citations (71 in August) with 615 this year-to-date. 106 warnings were given ( 101 in August) with 944 warnings this year-to-date. |
