Show Sunday School Teachers Convention. The North Snnpcto Sunday School teachers held their Annual Convention Conven-tion in Mount I'lease.n; last, Sunday in "jhe South Ward meeting-house. They were Howard R. Drigs of the U. of U., Henry Peterson, Pet-erson, Dean of the llrigham City High School and George D. Pyper 'of the Salt Lake rheaire and Mrs. Ethel Brinton. Valuable information regarding Sunday school work was given by the visitors. Mr. Pyper remained to attend the M. I. A. Conjoint session and lectured lectur-ed to the young people telling them of the visit of the tabernacle choir at the White House, in Washington, and the welcome reception which the President gave the Utah singers. Mr. Pyper was manager of the choir during the trip in the east and states that it was an event that win always be cherished in the hi arts of therwo hundred members, who were privileged privil-eged to go on the trip He sang a number of solos for the young people while here in t'.Jount Pleasant. |
