Show Death of Annie Christine Christensen Mrs. Annie Christine Christensen died at Drummond, Idaho, last Friday, April 4, 1913, after a short illness with pneumonia. Mrs. Christensen Chris-tensen was born in Osterrisoen, Norway, September 11, 1832. She came to America in the year 1863, making the long journey across the plains with a handcart company. She came to Mt. Pleasant and was married to James Anderson Christensen Chris-tensen in 1864 and they made their home in this city since that time. Mrs. Christensen was preceeded to the grave by her husband several years ago. She went to Idaho in the month of June of last year and was living with her children until the end came. She was the mother of nine children, six of whom survive her. They are: James Christensen, N. C. Christensen, Frank Christensen, Christine Moneyhan, Laura Olsen of Idaho and Annie Evans of Murray. She was the mother of twenty-two grand-children and nine great-grand-children. The body wasbrought from Idaho on Saturday April 5th. Funeral services were held at the North Ward Meeting House Sunday afternoon. A good attendance being present. James Monsen, C. W. Sorenson, and Daniel Rasmussen were the speakers. The choir furnished furn-ished music and beautiful fbwers wore given by friends of the family. Those who came from other towns to attend the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Frank Christensen, Mr. and Mrs. Jirr.es Ciristsn ci and N. C. Christensen of Idaho, Mrs. Anna Evans of Murry Eva Hansen of Salt Lake City and Mrs. Francis Lindquist and children of Murry. |
