Show Arbor Day Observance. In keeping with the proclamation of Governor Spry in which he has designated April 15th as Arbor day the citizens of Mount Pleasant will have another opportunity of beautifying beauti-fying their homes and surroundings by planting trees and shrubs and by cleaning up their yards and the streets surrounding their property. The citizens, generally,, are pleased pleas-ed to observe this holiday in a commendable com-mendable manner, as each year finds an-ore general observance of the day. In keeping with the spirit 'of the day, the city council recommends to the citizens that an effort be made to give the streets a through clean ing by removing brush and rubbish from about the property. An effort in this direction will greatly improve the appearance of the city. In order that this maybe carried out effectiuely the council asks the support of all citizens and reduest the following to act as a committee to supervise the work on their various var-ious streets running east and west through the city, and half of the block North and South of such streets.
