Show t - Chit COnsmt by Ilea Hummer Tree family visits Provo Phillip Tree and family are visiting in Provo with his mother, Vera Tree. The visit was twofold, as they brought a son and daughter to enter the IDS mission home on Thursday, July 25. Their son is going to Belgium and their daughter is going to Spain. They will leave September 23 from Salt Lake City. Steven Tree and family are from Porterville, Calif, and the whole family will be together during the first week in August. Phil will then go east and Steve will go west. It was very joyful time, as, the family is spread out so far they seldom get together. It was nice to be able to visit with Phillip and family who are so grown up, since I last saw them. , The Adderly-Phillips family reunion re-union was held Aug. 3 at the Centerville Park. One hundred thirteen members were present. This is my mother's, Lillie Knutesen side of the family. She, the eldest, lives in Centerville; Leonard Adderly, Sandy; Emma Phillips Noble, Bend, Ore.; and Dennis Phillips, Taylorsville. My own family had the most in attendance with 34; Arvil and Claudia Carter were in charge of the program, with games, races, treasure trea-sure hunt, horseshoes, and ball games for the young; and visiting for the older ones. My sister, Beverly Nowotny, was updating the family genealogy. Dinner was at 4 p.m.; my cousin, Peggy Vearlie traveled the longest distance as she came from Bend, Ore. ; and my grandson, Christopher Scott Grange, was the youngest to attend. The day was thoroughly enjoyed by All. Kathryn and Darrell Williams are vacationing in Lava Springs, Idaho this week. Charles and Velma Jensen and their children, Christy, Charlie and Tessie, were up for the weekend from Huntington. They enjoyed the reunion and then Lagoon on Sunday. Also visiting from Huntington were Sharon and Leon Crandall, and Kenneth and Lynnette Williams and their two children, TJ and Shane. |
