Show ; ; : 1 Club News Men's Golf Association ;j The Park City Men's Golf Association, in conjunction with the Ladies' Golf Association, has slated a Chapman-style Scotch twosome event for Sunday, Aug. 11. Entry fee is $15 a person, which includes dinner. Prize money will be awarded to winning teams and special prizes will be given for longest drive and closest to the hole. . Following the tournament, a barbecue chicken dinner will be held at I Sneakers, where a free vodka cocktail hour will be offered to tournament I players. For more information, call the pro shop at 649-8701. - Library book discussion series A book discussion series continues Aug. 12 at 7 p.m. at the Miner's Hospital library featuring Joan Chase's critically acclaimed novel set in the Ohio farm country, During the Reign of the Queen of Persia. Twentieth-century literary scholar, Edward A. Geary, will open the discussion. Copies of the book are available at the library. Call 649-8118 j for more information.
