Show No summer vacation? The Park City School District has received a $20,000 grant to study the possibility of implementing year-round schools, said Superintendent Tony Mitchell. He added a committe of interested teachers, parents and administrators will be formed to begin to study the issue. An initial two-day workshop has been scheduled Aug. 23 and 24 and Mitchell said anyone who is interested in attending should call the district office, 649-9671, as soon as possible. The workshop will be held in Provo and will cover exemplary year-round school systems across the country, he said. ' |
