Show Bridge work to delay traffic A planned bridge repair on State Route 113 near Midway will cause some traffic interference during the upcoming two months, the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) said. The construction work will be done on the road's Provo River Bridge, which will undergo modifications of its parapet walls. The existing concrete walls on the bridge are too narrow and badly deteriorated, vuoi says. The project involves removing the existing walls and installing new, wider concrete parapet walls that conform to present safety standards. The contract, issued to Badgers Unlimited of Salt Lake City, stipulates the work must be completed by Oct. 1 . Funding for the project comes from UDOT's maintenance main-tenance budget. |
