Show Sellier ....... -. . -, . to direct New World films Midway film director Charles E. Sellier, Jr. has signed a three-picture production contract with New World Pictures, said New World spokesman spokes-man Robert Rehme. The films will be directed by Sellier and produced by Allan C. Pederson and Tom Chapman of the Sellier Entertainment Company. New World Pictures, which is based in Hollywood, California, will finance and distribute the films. The first of the films, "Vigilante," will be shot in Atlanta, Georgia in April and May. The locations for the other films, "Black Mass" and "Dead Lessons," have not been determined. "Vigilante," said Pederson, is a "revenge action adventure thriller." He described the other movies as youth-oriented horror stories. "Chuck has an exceptional track record for successful motion pictures," pic-tures," said Rehme. "We value his expertise and look forward to working with him." A veteran producer, writer and director of television and theatrical motion pictures, Sellier has created movies whose box office grosses have totaled $230 million to date, said Pederson. In a recent Variety listing of highest-grossing independent films, one fourth of the top 25 were Sellier pictures, he added. Among Sellier' s productions are "The life and Times of Grizzly "In Search of Noah's Ark," and "Hanger 18." His television credits include "Grizzly Adams," "Classics Dlustrated" and "Mark Twain's America." |
