Show With spring just around the corner (at least in theory), bicycle racing will soon be taking its turn on the schedule for some local athletes. Utah cycling season beeins this week Looking for signs of spring? Here's one. The Utah Bicycle Racing Schedule for 1985 is out and the season begins Saturday. It is time to get out your jerseys and black bottoms and start pedaling. Saturday's race is a 25-mile criterium and leads off a series of warm-up races at the Salt Lake International Center every Saturday Satur-day throughout March at 1 p.m.. The Thursday night criterium series at the International Center will begin April 11 at 5:30 p.m. The first stage race of the season will take place in and around Moab on April 13 and 14. The schedule, which lists almost 100 Utah cycling events this summer, also calls for Park. City to host the Vaughn Angell Memorial Stage Race July 15 and 16.
