Your pre-iclvtm pre-iclvtm list is all that could be desired, nnd should, and doubtless will, attract at-tract exhibitors from all parts of this country and Canada. Tho Fourth Annual Midwinter Sheep t-how, held In your city lat January in connection -with the Forty-sixth ADntta! convention of the National Wool Growers' association, was an eye-opener to the sheep show world, and demonstrated not only the ability of western men to arrange and successfully suc-cessfully conduct a sheep xhow of magnitude, but It also demonstrated the fact that here in the Inter mountain moun-tain region are bred the finest specimens speci-mens of the several types ef wool and mutton sheep to be found In America. "Ogden Is tho center of the greatest great-est theep and wool-growing region In the world, and id peculiarly well located lo-cated for the conduct of an annual fair such as yon have planned. Surrounded iis It Is by the four largest larg-est sheep and wool growing state3 In the union, Wyoming producing 10.000,000 pounds of wool, Montana produclnc 34 000.000 pounds, Idaho with 21.000,000 pounds. "In recent years the eastern breeders breed-ers have been compelled to sit up and take notice of the results of breeding in the Rocky Mountain country, and these annual sheep shows will serve to arouse still greater great-er interest, with the result that the range flocks will steadily improve to tho profit of all concerned." |
