Intimation thay had had of any such change. Mr. Calvin ulso said that ho was quite Ignorant of any l-.nowicdge of the rumored coalition oj. tween the Hill and Gould railroad interests in-terests agaiDSt Harriman Speaking further regarding tho situation, Mr. Calvin said: "You see, we have been away on a vacation and have had practically no means at all to learn anything regarding re-garding work along our respective or-ficlal or-ficlal lines. - My foiks told mo when I went away -that nothing short of a death or serious sickness in the fam-i!y fam-i!y would causo them to bother me.
