Show CONFER WITH HEAD OF SERVICE IDAHO ATTORNEY AND SHEEP MEN ARE HERE. They Are Seeking to Obtain Grazing Rights for the Sheep Owned by ' Fitzpatrlck Brothers.- ' I ' Judge C. O. Stockalager of Hailey. Idaho, accompanied by Frank Melius and Eugene ChaumclV representatives representa-tives of the Kllpatrlck Brothers sheep concern of Peekaboo, idaho, ' are in Ogden conferring with District. Forrester Forres-ter Leavltt in regard to Sawtooth Forest For-est grazing matter?. Although for years grazers on the Sawtooth range, the Kllpatrlck company did not grazs its . sheep in that district the season in which it came under the Jurisdiction Jurisdic-tion of the Forest Service. The consequence con-sequence was that l.h allotments having hav-ing all been made for'the present sea-Bon, sea-Bon, the Kilpatricks have been unable to secure Sawtooth range for the .coming .com-ing season. Messrs. Melius and Chau-mell Chau-mell are employes of the Kllpatrlck compnny, ' and Judge . Stockslager is acting as their legal counsel in the matter of securing the" desired range. Forester Leavitt states that as the allotments for the Sawtooth district have been made, there seems to be poor prospects of the Kilpatricks securing se-curing grazing privileges within the district named. An effort, however, will be made to treat the company with all fairness and. if possible, provide range in some other district near by. Judge Stockslager, who succeeded Judge Stewart of Boise on the su preme court bench and was Governor Gooding's rival for gubernatorial honors, hon-ors, is well known in this state as well as in Idaho, where he has been a prominent prom-inent figure 'hi politics for years. |
