The business of great, importance im-portance transacted was that of deciding de-ciding to order a carload of wool ba?s P.nd a half car of fleece twine. Tho contract for the same was given t-3 the Bailey and Sons company of Salt Lake, the bags and twine to bo delivered de-livered to the sheepmen in time lor the spring shearing. Reports from the men who are under un-der the employment or the association associa-tion in the killing of coyotes on the various sheep grounds and along the trails, were very flattering, it bein; shown that the destructive animals vro being disposed of in great numbers. num-bers. It also developed beforo mo meeting that the bides of these animals ani-mals are bringing a handsome price ovi the market, they selling at from $J to $4 each. At this price for the hides it was argued by the wool men that farmers and ranchmen could easily nif.ke good money killing these aiv-n'.als, aiv-n'.als, even though there be no bounty paid for the dead ones. In the face ot the fact that the coyote skin is commanding com-manding such a fancy price it was tho consensus of opinion that the stani would not be required to pay a bounty cf more than $1.50 for each coyot;. A bill is now pending in the legislature legisla-ture touching upon the bounty question, ques-tion, and it is said that the idea prevails pre-vails with some of the advocates ot the bill that a bounty of $2.50 oi more should be offered by the state. A. G Fell and Herman Kuchler were selected to make a trip to Poca-lello. Poca-lello. Idaho, to confer with the supervisor super-visor of the Portneuf forest reserve with the view of securing trailing trail-ing privileges' over the reserve re-serve from the Bannock Valley eastward to Oneida. The gentlemen left Ogden last night for Pocatello to attend to the matter above referred to.
