HaU The annual state rally of all Utah j reviews of the Woman's Benefit association as-sociation of the Maccabees was held Wednesday, June 2$. In the w. o. W. ' hall. At 2 p. m , the rally was called ! to order by Mrs. Otera McEwan, rally ral-ly commander, who presided through-, out the meeting. Mrs. Catherine Erlekson. state commander, com-mander, who has been on the coast for three months as a special worker, was present as the guest of honor of the rally, and made several informal speeches besides her address. During Dur-ing the afternoon session she wis presented with a beautiful silk umbrella um-brella by Silver review No 1 as a slight token of their love and appreciation appre-ciation of the help she has given them In their work. COMMANDERS SPEAK. Mrs. McEwan, commander of Silver Sil-ver review and rally commander made a short speech of welcome and the following commanders responded: Mrs. Hanchett Ol Banner No 11; Mrs. Countryman of Alice No. 16. Mrs. Fairbanks of Brigham No. 12. Mrs. Jeffers of Park City No. 2. and Mrs. Seddon of Liberty No. 9. The rally gave an opportunity for social intercourse and the meeting of many Old friends, and was thoroughly enjoyed by all The exemplification of the ritualistic work was well done by the different guard teams. 00 |
