Pierce, superintendent superintend-ent of the Utah division of tho road, were In Ogden yesterday on an inspection inspec-tion of the Utah division of the Oregon Ore-gon Short Line. Mr. Knickerbocker predicted that present indications were that there would be bumper crops of fruit, wheat, sugar beets, and alfalfa throughout Idaho this season. Ho said that becauSo of the shortage short-age of seed potatoes this sca-son, tho usual acreage would not be planted this year. |
