Show A. C. HOME ECONOMICS CLUB IS REORGANIZED j LOGAN, May 29. Tho Homo Economics Eco-nomics club of tho Utah Agricultural college has effected a reorganization in preparation for an active season next school year. Mrs. Ethalyn Oliver Oli-ver Greaves of Logan was elected president, Miss Laura Andrus of Spanish Span-ish Fork, vice president and Miss Carroll Car-roll of Ordervllle, Utah, secretary and treasurer. The club is composed of the leading students in the school of home economics. eco-nomics. It is particularly active in arousing interest in the study of home economics, not only in the college, but throughout the state, where it maintains main-tains a very close relatlonschlp with the high school clubs in home economics. eco-nomics. During tho past year it has inaugurated and carried through a very successful thrift campaign among the girls of the institution. The buying buy-ing of thrift stamps was encouraged nnd weekly reports required from the girls relating in what ways savings in clothing and general living expenses had been accomplished. |
