Hlggins j one of tho Ipwa men, stumbled over ihe curbing and lost a fraction of a second In that race. The former record rec-ord for tho two-mile university made I here was S minutes flat by Illinois In I 1314. Scholz of Missouri, again was the winner of the 100-yard dash, his tunc being :09 4-5, the samo in wKich he made It when ho won the race two years ago, i Illinois won the second section of the one-mile university in 3:21 3-5,' the former record being 3:21 4-G.
