Show C01TICE Blllf Hi 'THE STOLE! KISS' SEE! ST HER BEST f 'A Photoplay of Exceptional i Merit In Constance Einney's second Real-art Real-art production, "Tho Stolen Kiss," which is featured today at the Alham-!bra Alham-!bra theatre, America'u moat representative repre-sentative girl, gives her admirers a flash of that exquisite dancing which elevated her to the ranks of stardom on both the screen and the stage In less time than it takes to wonder at it. 1 It was as a dancer that Constance Binney was first brought to the attention at-tention of tho theatro world. A pupil of the greatest masters of the dance -Cccchoti, Albertierl and the Duncans Dun-cans she was able to even exceed the expectations demanded of her in "Oh, Lady! Lady!" the musical comedy come-dy which created a furore and was tho means of bringing fame to the debutante star of screen and stage. Mies Binney dances in "39 East,' the delightful Crothers play In which she stars, and she also shows the results re-sults of her dancing In "Erstwhile Su-danclng Su-danclng develops grace and poise which Constance Binney displayed in all her movemonta, then by all means she stars, and she also shows the results of her dancing in "Erstwhile Susan," her first Rcalart picture. If dancing develops grace and poise which Constance Binney displays in all her movements, then by all means make dancing compulsory. "Tho Stolon Kiss,'' is just the sort of picture destined to further bring out the wholesomeness of this sweet and most welcome screen luminary. It is a story uniquo in the telling, whimsically pathetic and joyously funny, fun-ny, while an absorbing romance flavors fla-vors the entire picture. Miss Binney is shown In a dual capacity as Felicia Feli-cia and her mother, Octavla Day. Those sophisticated motion picture spectators who seem to bo able to sense all tho double exposure tricks of the director, will bo genuinely puzzled puz-zled trying to explain how some of Director Kenneth Webb's stunts were done. Miss Binney's foil is the strapping Rodney La Roque, who has appeared in support of the greatest motion picture pic-ture stars. His work is manly and sincere. The rest of the cast, containing contain-ing such notables as Frank Losee, Bradley Schable, Richard Carlyle, Edward Ed-ward Fethorton and Agnes Everett, Ad Nevil, Edyna Davies, is exception-tally exception-tally well balanced. |
