In the combined contest. Urban Hanks of Wayne, Ira Markham of Spanish Fork, and Sidney ( Cornwall of Granite, won second, third I -and fourth, respectively. Royal Crook j 61 Wasatch won first in the Livestock j Judging content, with Reed Halverson i ' of Spanish Fork, second, Urban Hanks k of BIcknell, third, and Russell Swen-I Swen-I son of Pleasant Grove, fourth. In the grain judging contest Iva Markbam of Spanish Fork, won first place, Maurice I Bryan of Tooele, second. Sidney Qorn- wall of Granite, third, and Royal Crook of, Wasatch, fourth. ,' Girl Winners. Among the girls, Ora Whitmorc of i Jordan High school, won the baking I contest. Florence Smith of Granite, and Hazel Christiansen and Augusta' ' i'ladsen of Box Elder won second,' third and fourth respectively. In the J Bowing contest. Theso stu- j I dents who represent the departments I of agriculture and home economics in t llxoir various high ccaools were sent lo the U. A. as recognition, of their ti high standard of work in club aclivl- tier. They have been receiving spec- ialized instruction in their various pros' pro-s' jects. This instruction they will put P to practice as club leaders this com-I', com-I', ing summer. The college furnished supervised ! lodging accommodations for the stu- I aenls .upon the campus. A carefully j ' arranged progress of work covering t the whole week of the school was car- I ried out under the direction of DrJ I. M II. Harris, state leader. of junior Pi extension work, and Miss Goldie, as-i sistaiit state leader, assisted by other' members of the U. A, C. faculty.
