Show NOTICE. Of Special Meeting of Stockholders of Rozel Asphalt Company. Notice Is hereby given that there will be a special mooting of the stockholders stock-holders of tho Rozel Asphalt company, a corporation, with Us principal place of business 'at Ogden, Utah, to be held at the court room of Judgo A- E. Pratt, in tho Weber couDty court house, at Ogden, Utah, at tho hour of 8 o'clock p. m., on April 2nd, 1918. Said mooting is called for tho pur-poso pur-poso of considering and voting upon tho proposition of amending tho articles arti-cles of Incorporation of said corporation, corpora-tion, namely, Article Six thereof, by increasing tho capital stock, of 250,000 shares of tho par valuo of $1.00 por share, to 750,000 shares of the par valuo of $1.00 per aharo. An ordlnanoe providing for a llcenGo to be paid by publlo eating and drinking drink-ing places and prescribing regulations for the conduct of such public eating and drinking places and tho penalty for the violation thereof. Bo it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of Ogden City, Utah: Section 1. Definitions Every place, room or structure, kept, usod, or hold out, in wholo or in part, as a placo whoro foods or drinks are furnished, served, dispensed or sold, or where Uioy aro offered for salo for human consumption upon tho promisos, is a public eating or drinking placo within tho meaning of this ordinance. Sec. 2. Liconso Required. It shall bo unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation tp ongago In tho business of owning or conducting a public oat-Ing oat-Ing or drinking placo within tho corporate cor-porate limits of Ogden City, without first paying Into the city treasury of said city an annual license feo of twolvo dollars, and obtaining a Uccnso so to do, - Sec. 3. Sanitary Regulations, All eating and drinking places shall bo I maintained 4a a clean and sanitary, LEGAJL NOTICES condition, and all utensils used in the preparation and in serving foods and 1 liquids shall be thoroughly sterilized boforo using tho samo for such prep- : aratlon or sorvlce. Sec. -I. Prohibiting Minors. Persons Per-sons undor the ago of sixteen years shall not be permitted or allowed In suoh public eating "or drinking places after the hour of nine o'clock p. m., unless accompanied by parent, guardian guar-dian or some suitable person as chaperon. Sec. 5. Prohibiting Booths. It shall be unlawful for any persons, firm, or corporation to keep, maintain or operate oper-ate any such public eating or drinking place containing booths, partitions, curtains or screens in the public room or hall, which shall be higher than three feet six inches from tho surface of the floor of such room or hall, provided pro-vided that it shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to keep or maintain any booth, partition, curtain or screen of any height, kind or description on any mezzanine, second or higher floor of such eating or drinking drink-ing place. Sec. 6. Duty of Sanitary Inspector and Police Officers. It shall be tho duty of tho sanitary Inspector of Ogden Og-den City to inspect all such public eating and drinking places, and enforce en-force the provisions of this ordinance. And it shall be tho duty of the police offlcors of said city to inspect all such eating and drinking places, and enforce en-force the provisions of this ordinanco. Sec. 7. Penalty. Any person, firm or corporation, violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine of not more than Three Hundred Dollars, or by Imprisonment in toe city Jail for a period not exceeding one hundrod and eighty days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. Sec. 8. Revocation of License. Tho license of any pubnc eating or drinking drink-ing place keeper shall bo revoked by the Board of Commissioners of Ogdon City, Utah, for any violations of the provisions of this ordinance, and any subsequent application for any such license by such keeper snail be made by petition to the Board of Commissioners Commis-sioners of said Ogden City. Sec. 9. This ordinance shall take effect twenty days aftor the dato of its publication as required by law. Passed by the Board of Commissioners Commis-sioners of Ogden City, Utah, March 12, 1918.
