Show uu OPEN MEETING. Tho next meeting of tho local Chautauqua Chau-tauqua Reading circles will be a joint meeting on the evening of March 25 when the members will meet at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Falck. Mrs. Josephine Hirst will give a review of the book just finished by the readers, "The Greatest Books." This will be a large meeting and all members of the circles are asked to be present. BLIND STUDENTS IN CANTATAS. Many Ogdenltes aro looking forward to the musical of Thursday evening March 21 when Miss Ivine Shields will present thirty-five children of the School for tho Deaf and Blind in two cantatas. The musical will be staged in tho First Presbyterian church and I the blind chorus is known as the Handel Han-del chorus. The students will be assisted as-sisted by Miss Jane Sands, a charming charm-ing and talented soprano vocalist of Salt Lake City, who has had extensive study, not only in America but abroad. The cantatas are being given for the benefit of the Red Cross and everyone Is especially invited to attend. REGULAR MEETING. The regular meeting of Lincoln Circle, Cir-cle, Ladies of tho G. A. R. will be held in the I. O. O. F. hall Thursday March 14 at the usual time. All arc asked to be presenL NORTHERN TRIP. Mrs. Elizabeth Francis accompanied her little granddaughter, Miss Mervyl Lord to the home of her parents in Lewislon, today. Little Miss Mervyl has been visiting her grandmother and has spent a delightful time in Ogden. Mrs. Francis will return before Easter. WEEK-END VISIT. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Robinson spent the week-end in Ogden at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Orlas Farr. |
