Repre-3entativo Repre-3entativo Scott Ferris of Oklahoma , chairman of tho house public lands commltteo since tbo Democrats gained gain-ed control, was elected last nigh chairman of tho Democratic -congres sional campaign committee. He succeeds suc-ceeds Representative Frank E. Dore-mus Dore-mus of Michigan, who after piloting two congressional campaigns, announced an-nounced ho could no longer serve because be-cause his time would be taken up by other congressional activities. The committee re -organized for the first tlmo during this congress. These vice chairmen were elected. Senators Shields, Tonnesseo; Shaf-' Shaf-' roth, Colorado, and Thompson, Kanr sas; Representatives Webb, North Carolina; Gandy, South Dakota; Raker, Rak-er, California, and Cox, Indiana. Representative Rep-resentative Lonergan of Connecticut, was chosen secretary; South Trimble of Kentucky, who is clerk of the house, was continued as assistant secretary, and Joseph J. Simmott of Virginia, 1 doorkeeper of tho houso, as sergeant-1 sergeant-1 at-arms of tho committee.
