Show WOODEN SHIP PLANSCHANOE Timbers of Smaller Size to Be Used by Southern Ship-- Ship-- building Companies. WASHINGTON. March 13. Under the old specifications for ship timbers, tim-bers, few trees could be found in southern forests sufficiently large to cut the heavier pieces and 2300 cars of fir wore ordered from the Pacific coast for southern yards. The new order reducing the size has been made.
