Campbell, assistant as-sistant superintendent of the Salt Lake division of tho Southern Pacific, returned re-turned this morning from an inspection inspec-tion trip. Law-son Law-son and William Henry Lawson, both of Ogden, havo been in activo servlco for some time, the former having been In France for five months. Inheritance Tax An order fixing the inheritance tax for the estate of Albert Kiesel deceased, has been issued is-sued by Judge A. E. Pratt of the district dis-trict court. Tho tax is $184.37. Tho estate was appraised at $17,511.35. Of this amount $11,365.59 was exempted by the law and the tax was figured on the remaining $6,145.76. Three Boys Rejected Notice of tho rejection of three Ogden men who were sent to Vancouver Barracks, Wash., to join the engineer corps, has been received by the city exemption board. Wilford C. Peters was rejected reject-ed because of painful flat'feet; Joseph Hamola" because of vnricoso veins, and Glen Lewis because of a weak loft foot, which was broken two years ago. Join Medical Corps Two men will bo sent to Fort Riley, Kansas, tomorrow tomor-row by tho city exemption board to join the medical reserve corps. They are Ham Johnson and J. J. Taken to Provo William Matula-vich, Matula-vich, the Austrian who had to havo two examination to determine that he was insane, was taken to Provo today by Deputy C. P. Fitzgerald. He was examined yesterday aftornoon by a board constlsting of Judge A. W. Agee, Dr. R. Kanzler and Dr. A. A. Robinson and found insane. Matulavlch has a wifo and five children in Louisville, Colo., and had been in Utah only a week when he was brought to the county jail. Episcopal Meeting Mrs. George Biller, Jr., of South Dakota, will be the guest of the women's auxiliary of the Episcopal church this afternoon and tonight.
