Show MEN'S HI ST In spite of many hindrances and counter-attractions, the meeting at the Methodist church last night was the best one of all. Evangelist Bennett took for his theme: "The Denial and Reclamation of Peter." He showed the three steps to Peter's downfall: First, religious pride; second, following follow-ing Jesus afar off; third, getting into the wrong crowd. He then described Peter's betrayal of his Master; his repentance, and the apparent coldness of the other diciples which delayed his return until after tho resurrection. Then he contrasted the attitude of Jesus. First, Jesus, Immediately upon up-on His resurrection, sent particular word to Peter that He expected him among the disciples when He met them; second, He appeared first of all to Peter; third, the beautiful scene on the shore of the Sea of Gallilee when Peter renewed his, vows of love and allegiance and when Jeaus gave to him the assurances that ho should be equipped for service Tonight Is to bo "Men's Night," A special invitation Is extended to all men's organizations.
