Show UTAH PLEASES TIE " HEAP OF NATION President Wilson has expressed to Senator William H. King his appreciation apprecia-tion of the manner in which Utah is meeting the war crisis and co-operating with tho federal government. Senator Sen-ator King has written the following letter to Governor Bamberger, describing describ-ing the president's attitude: "I had a personal interview with the president today and called his attention atten-tion to the splendid patriotic work which you have done and are now doing in Utah. He desired me to express to you his deep appreciation of your services and the loyal support given him by you and the people of Utah. "lie was particularly gratified with the resolutions adopted at the mass meeting of American citizens of Gorman Gor-man and Austrian birth or extraction, called by you and hold on March 29, 1917 I was directed by the president to inform you that ho would be glad to receive the resolutions, and he stated stat-ed that he would be pleased if you would convey to those who adopted tho resolutions his sincere appreciation apprecia-tion ( of their confidence, loyalty and support." |
