Show I Good Snappy Pantages Bill ToiiIgM H i MARIE RUSSELL, 'THE BELLE OF KENTUCKY" fl The new Pantases biU opening today at the Orpheum Theater, is another one of those variety shows i picked by Alexander Pantages as an all-star bill of good things guaranteed to please and drive away K the blues- There is plenty of comedy, good music, drama, singing, dancing and acrobatics on the bill. m Marie Russell, "The Girl in Brown," as "The Belle of Kentucky," is one of the heamors on the bill H with her songs and patter. Hugh B. Koch and company have a dramatic playlet entitled After Ten H Years," and scores one of the hits of the show. Herbert Dyer and Co. have an acrobatic act that is a M , scream; Goldsmith and Pinard have a novelty musical act; Evelyn and Dolly sing and dance; The M Evans Trio are musicians of merit and sing while playing on the Ukulele. Of special interest is the one- H ' reel of war pictures on preparedness with views of the review at West Point with President Wilson in H ' attendance. Mutt and Jeff close the bill with their usual laughs. |
