Show All Postoffices to Refuse Mail Destined for Germany and Her Allies. WASHINGTON, April 9. Postmaster Postmas-ter Burleson today suspended mail service to Germany during the war and also instructed all postoffices to refuse as well any mall destined for Austria-Hungary, Luxembourg, Bulgaria Bul-garia and Turkey, as it cannot be dispatched dis-patched at present without passing through Germany. Mail from the countries last named which may be received in the United States will be sent forward to destination. Postmaster General Burleson also has suspended postal money orders between be-tween the United States and the Germany Ger-many empire. International money order offices declined to pay orders or-ders drawn upon them by German offices of-fices on and after April G. 0 |
