Show I. ' j Deatk and Froerals SORICH Mary, infant daughter of John and Annie Sorlch, died yesterday morning at the family residence, 143 Twenty-sixth street, of pneumonia. The funeral was held this afternoon at St. Joseph's Catholic church, with Rev. Fatlier P. M. Cushnahan officiating. Interment was in tho city cemetery. JENSEN The funeral of Lena Jensen Jen-sen was held yesterday afternoon in tho Farr West ward chapel, with Bishop Bish-op Moroni Chugg presiding. Many friends and relatives of the decedont attended tho service and her bier was covored with floral tributes. Tho speakers wore Hans J. Yoyl, August Jensen, David Jensen, Peter L. Peterson Peter-son and Bishop Chugg. The ward choir sang "Guide Me to Theo," "Nearer, "Near-er, My God, to Thee," and "Resting From Care and Sorrow." Intermont was in the Ogden City cemetery. NEWMAN Tho funeral of Josephine Jose-phine V. Nowman was hold yesterday afternoon n the Seventh ward chapel, with Bishop Arthur Budge presiding. Friends and relatives of the decedent filled the chapel to Its capacity and many floral tributes were placed upon her bier. Special music was furnished furnish-ed as follows- ''Absent," "A Perfect Day" and "O, Do' Those Tears," Chas. Farr; "Some Sweet Day" and "All Through the Night," Josephine Shorten. Shor-ten. The speakers were John L. Wilson, Wil-son, J. L. Hunsaker, M. L. Jones, William Wil-liam E. Newman and Thomas Shreevo. Interment was In tho city cemetery. GERDING C. H. A. Gording, Jr., a well known railroad conductor of Ogden, Og-den, died last night of heart trouble. He was 39 years of ago and is survived sur-vived by his wife and a stepson. The decedent was a member of Ogden lodge No. 719, B. P. O .E.; the Weber club, the Masonic lodge at Elko, Nev., and the Order of Railway Conductors. His body was removed to tho Kirken-dall Kirken-dall mortuary, pending funeral arrangements. ar-rangements. , oo |
