Show PEOPLE KM TO : I mm ie Muss i MEETING : I All of tho 11,000 taxpayers of Ihe city who arc qualified to vote on the $200,000 school bonds issue aie ear nestly lnvitod by the city board of education to attend the mass meeting called by tho board at the Ogden Tab ernaclo tonight at 8 o'clock for tho purpose of discussing the' bonds and tho reconstruction of the school build ings. Fred J Kioscl today announced his strong advocacy of the bonds "The health, safety and education of our ' children should be our first care," he j said. "The Improvements of the school buildings aro veiy nccessan "i Mr Kiesel, who was interviewed by ' a repiesentativo of the morning paper, pa-per, also advocated the $300,000 bonds for the Third ward sewer. "The sewer sew-er improvements contemplated by the city administration," he said, "are also necessary to conserve the health ( of our citizens and promote tho growth of the city." ) Inquiry by tho Standard today elic-1 ited the genoral opinion that tho vote at the special eloion next Thursday will bo about 3,000, or a little more , than a fourth of the number qualified to cast a ballot on bonds. Of these 3.000 who may be expected to vote, 'tis said, at least 400 will work against the bonds "for chronic reasons." On this account there Is a general do-mand do-mand for vigorous work to poll a larger lar-ger vote and assure tho passage of the school bonds. nn |
