Show COMPW II HEGUD 10 TUXES By a system of practical economies established immediately after he assumed as-sumed office, County Treasurer Hulsh has been able lately to loan one of his deputies, Ralph McNamara, to Assessor As-sessor Owen M. Sanderson for temporary tem-porary work. Mr. McNamara and other oth-er help will be needed in tho treasurer's treas-urer's office in a few days, however, because the first assessment valuation notices must be sent out by May 1. Complaints in regard to valuation or application for abatement of taxes must be made to tho board of equali- zation In Uie assessor's office between 10 a. m. and 4 p. m. on May 14, 1G, 19, 21, 23, 26, 2D and 31, and June 5, 7, and 9. Tho board Is composed this year of Commissioners Brown, Ensign and Skoen, and the board's secretary, Clerk Charlos M. Itumoy and Assessor Sanderson. Treasurer Hulsh said It would be impracticable this year, in his opinion, opin-ion, to materially reduce the taxes. oo |
