Show IP SCHOOL MEEI IS Everything is now in readiness for the big class track meet to bo held this afternoon at the high school. Tho weather conditions have not interfered interfer-ed with the work of the boys and somo of the school records arc looked for to be lowered. At 3 o'clock speeches will '. be made by Judgo Howell, C. C. Richards Rich-ards and Superintendent Johnson The high school band will bo present to furnish music during the afternoon Captain W. E Kneass will be In charge of the cadets, who will give a drill after the patriotic speeches Tho class rivalry is very keen and tho result of tho meet will depend on the work of the fair co-eds, -who are also slated to take part in tho meet The class captains are Bert Brown for i tho seniors; R. Reedor for the juniors, I G. O'Keefe for the sophs; E Craig for ! the freshies. Tho meet will stai t promptly at 4 p. m. |
