HIST M KEEPING 0F1EII I At a meeting of the city commission j late yesterday afternoon a committee I of five men, representing a majority of the property owners on south Washington Wash-ington avenue, again reported the demand de-mand for concrete paving without the "bitulithic" wearing surface; that concrete con-crete was wanted because it Is so much cheaper and fills every need. The commission's notice of Inten tion, now running in the morning paper, pa-per, publication of which will expire next Tuesday morning, calls for concrete con-crete with the expensive wearing surface. sur-face. The committee was curious to know whether the mayor and Mr. Jones would attempt to "put over" the "bitulithic" "bi-tulithic" plan, despite the protests of the property owners, but they previously previ-ously had been assured that if jurisdiction juris-diction were obtained for concrete by the filing of the necessary petition to-i to-i day, which will probably be done, the commission will nullify the notice of i intention and start a new one calling , for concrete. The question will be settled at the commission's meeting next Monday i night. The property owners' committee is as follows: George J. Kelly, chair man; J. E. Wright, H. E. Taylor, D.-F. Steele and C.
