An appeal has come to the citizens of Utah from the French National Relief association for immediate help In their dire distress (Frpm different parts of France pitiful letters are constantly received, and the following are a few excerpts from one Just received by Miss Anna Mo-Cornick: Mo-Cornick: "Near Fourne inhabitants live in open boats to escape bombardment, sleeping on planks, without adequate food for babies or clothing for the aged. "We can never get enough canned, milk to feed the hundreds of starving babies; nor can we get enough candles in the dark trenches for those whose only light comes from bursting shells We need such simple things as old sheets of paper, envelopes, pencils, (postcards, Buspenders, shoestrings safety pins, cough drops, as the entire en-tire French army has bronchitis after a year ankle deep in water.
