Show MODERN WOODMEN ENTERTAIN. Wednesday evening in the I. O. O. F. and Woodmen of the World halls in tho Fraternity block, Utah Camp No. 9990, Modern Woodmen of America, Amer-ica, was host at one of tho most enjoyable en-joyable social affairs of the season. In the Odd Fellows' hall, a card party was staged and the Woodmen's hall was utilized for dancing, with the two types of entertilnment proving well suited to the desires of the guests. In addition to this diversion, refreshments re-freshments were served in the banquet ban-quet rooms of both lodges. The social so-cial was attended by about three hundred persons, and the arrangement arrange-ment committee received many congratulations con-gratulations on the splendid manner in which the crowd had beon entertained. MRS. WILLIAMS HOSTESS. Mrs. Fred D. Williams entertained her "500" club Wednesday evening, at her home on Twenty-fourth street Honors were given Mrs. Chamberlain and Mrs. Wilson. Luncheon was served, red and white carnations forming form-ing the centerpiece for the dining table. Tho place cards were hand-painted hand-painted in violets. Covers were laid for Mrs. Carl Allison, Mrs. Smith, Mrs. William Wilson, Mrs. Jesse G. Stratford, Jr, Mrs. Thomas Maltman, Mrs. Lee Chamberlain, Mrs. Charles Lunt Mrs. Robert Harlin, and Miss Lillian Lawson. |
