Show -uu MINING COMPANY HAS GOOD OUTLOOK The annual stockholders'" meeting of the Grandview Mining company was held yesterday evening in the First National Bank building, with 313,000 shares of the $500,000 -capital stock represented. The -following officers of-ficers were olectod for the ensuing vcar: C. H. Smith, president; O. H. Mohl-man, Mohl-man, vice-president and general manager; man-ager; Guy Vaughn, secretary-treasurer. These, with W. D. Watson and J. W. Wilcox, form the board of directors. direc-tors. The property of the company consists con-sists of 100 acres of land adjoining tho Lakevlow mine on the east and north and the Jayhawk, Cedar Ridge and Little Valley properties on the west and south. According to the report of the secretary-treasurer and general manager, the company Is In an excellent excel-lent financial condition. A recent report from the foreman of the Grandview mine was read at the meeting, to the effect that an ore vein had been struck In tho lower crosscut, showing a continuation of the four-foot vein of zinc ore, which was struck in the upper crosscut some time ago. |
