BERT BROWN CIVEN A JAIL SENTENCE Bert Brown was arrested and given a thirty-day jail sentence this morning morn-ing in less than a half hour. He pleaded guilty to a charge of petit larceny and. according to the arresting arrest-ing officer, Sergeant John Hutchlns. stolo an exhibition razor set from a drug store at Twenty-fifth street and Lineoln avenue Brown is well known in police circles. The officer noticed him coming from the drug store shortly short-ly before 10 o'clock with something hidden under bis coat. The fellow went Into the store, learned that the mart had made- no purchase there, fol lowed and arrested him. i Leo Crandall. who was arrested on East Twenty-fifth street last night by Officer William Reast while riding a bicycle on the sidewalk, was fined ?..
