Harris' division of the district court yesterday afternoon a jury was selected to hear the personal per-sonal injury case of Caroline White, administratrix of the estate of William White, deceased, against James Shipley Ship-ley and the American Express company com-pany The suit was brought to recover $10,000, alleged damaged for the death of Mr White April 1. 1914, which was caused by being run over by a wagon belonging to the express company, com-pany, driven by Mr. Shipley. The accident occurred on Twenty-fourth street, between Washington and Hudson Hud-son avenues, while Mr. White was sweeping the street S. A. Israelson, J. W Oibaon. J. R. Thompson, John Hoxer, Charles H. Thompson, George Moves, John Martin, Mar-tin, Jr. and James Gibson were selected se-lected as Jurors and hearing of testimony tes-timony was continued until next Monday Mon-day morning. |
