Show Piffi FEATURE OF FASHION SHOW TO BE A SUCCESS Autoraobilists desiring to have their cars appear in the automobile parade to be staged as a feature of the 1915 Fashion Show, will find it possible to have them decorated at a much smaller cost than last year, according to plans that arc now being made by the decorating committee. The announcement an-nouncement of the plans wao made at a luncheon meeting of committee chairmen and the publicity committee commit-tee held today at the Weber club and was taken as an augury of the most elaborate parade ever attempted. Last year the cost of decorating was considered con-sidered very high, but this year the committee will provide the decorating materials to the auto owners at cost. The meeting was one of the most enthusiastic yet held and the Ideas "sprung indicated that each committee commit-tee already has fallen "head vover heels" Into the work assigned. In fact, the workers are getting so interested in-terested that Chairman John Culley of the executive committee issued an 1 order for a daily report from each I sub-committee chairman In order to . keep the wires from getting crossed. At a meeting of the barbecue committee com-mittee last night, a vacant lot on Hudson avenue, between Twenty-fourth Twenty-fourth and Twenty-fifth streets, was decided upon as the most convenient place to hold the barbecue. At this event the public will be served cafeteria cafe-teria style and It is expected that more than a hundred waiters will be employed in dishing out the savory meat and side dishes. nn |
