Show oo FORTY PRETTY GIRLS PARADE San Francisco, Sept. 4 Forty pretty pret-ty girls, representing as many counties coun-ties of Mississippi, wore among the participants scheduled for the celebration celebra-tion today of "Mississippi day" at the Panama-Pacific exposition. John Dicks Howe, president of the local Mississippi society, was chairman chair-man of the day. Governor Earl L. Brewer was representee by W. E. Blakeslee, Mississippi commissioner of agriculture. Among other spoakers were to be Mayor James Rolph, Jr., of San Francisco, Fran-cisco, President C. C. Moore of the exposition and Arthur ArletL representing repre-senting Governor Hiram W. Johnson of California. |
