Show CHRISTMAS SHIP REACHES GENOA Genoa, vis Rome Dec 7, 11 : r, p. m The American Christmas ship, Jason, Jas-on, which arrived here today with Kiffs for the war orphans of Austria and Germany, was stopped by three warships while on her way to this port from Marseilles The warships, as soon as they learned the character of the vessel and her carco immediately immedi-ately drew off but not before the officers offi-cers had wished God speed to the Jason and her mission. When Commander Court nev and other officials from the Jason came I ashore they were visited at their hotel by the reresentati ves of the German government who officially welcomed them and their gifts The German delegation consisted of Baron Adolph Lutz, chamberlain of the King of Bavaria, Gottlieb Krals, councillor of the ministry of foreign affairs, Dr. i riuiiiaiiu ,'in.i , "Miui iuui ui me government gov-ernment of Munich, and Aranz von Herff, German consul general at Genoa. The delegation was accompanied by , Baron Miske, the Austrian consul general who explained that the Aus-tro-Hungarian delegation would arrive on Tuesday when they would pay a formal visit to the Americans.
