City R. eorder Florence Stanford reported that legal papers, dedieatlug to the ijty sufficient ground for a street 28 Peel wide; extending north and o.itb hctwerr, Twenty-first and Twcr.ty-jr-mtid itreetl and between Qnl at d Jackson avenues had been re-icnd. re-icnd. The document was referred to the committee of the whole for consideration. Commissioner Flygare c.f the street department, has recom i' ended the acceptance of the ground end tlif opening of the street under provision to be prescribed by the loard of commissioners. Among oiher things, Mr Flycare suggests that no poler- of any kind be allowed in the j center of the street. The cost of lighting the streets of 1 1 Clt last month amounted to $1,-919.66 $1,-919.66 and the city auditor was au-' au-' thorized and instructed to draw a warrant in favor of the tltah Power Light company for that sum. The small claims of J. P. Mnran and G A. Heman for repairs on streets were allowed and the auditor ulrected to issue warrants for S10G3. I Ordinances were approved nd passed creating grading district No. 1. which is on Twenty-fifth street between be-tween Harrison and Fillmore ave- lines; paving district No. Ill, embrac-i Inn Hudson avenue, between Twenty- rd and Twenty-fourth streets, and I No. 112 covering Twent -fifth Btreet, between Washington and Wall avenue, and Wall nvenue between Twenty-fourth ann Twenty-fifth f-trei'ts.
