Show ELKS EHIN IT CLUB ROOMS Oil MUM A delegation of fifty Salt Lake Elks helped to swell the crowd that witnessed wit-nessed the second production o' A Chinese Honeymoon"' last night at the Orpheum. As had been predicted, the pretty musical play was given an even superior presentation than that of tho opening night and the patrons rilled the theatre to the doors Among the musical numbers thai made especially big hits with everyone every-one were the solos, "A Taper Fan." by Bdua Healy Smyth and chorus: tho duet "Roses, Red and "White," by Mrs Smyth and A. H. Sander; "Twiddledy Hits" rnd "I Went to Be a l,idy," by Florence Browning; "The a la Girl, by Bessie Blair and the bridesmaids; "It's a Long. Long Way to Tipperary," by Jaj Glen and u ale chorus; "On the Mountain Trail." by . H Sander and ' Nursery Rhymes" by Mrs Agnes Warner. Florence Flor-ence Browning, Bernice Glazier, Mr ' Glen, Robert Hoggan and Mr. Sander The lest number and Miss Brown'.ng's : two sclos wf re the di ;tinct comedy features of the evening and created ovations of laughter and applause. In each number mentioned, with the exception ex-ception of the duet, the chorus gave splendid support, both vocally and in action After the play was over, the players and the visiting Elks were escorted to the home of the Ogden lodge and entertained with a "Dutch" lunch and the delights of a social hour. |
