The various club owners, as tho result of annual stock-taking, notice that no small amount of money may I be added to the exchequer through this means, and the managers of the teams realize moro and more the value of some real competition as n test for young playerB and also as a means of keying up the regulars for the campnign ahead and impressing them with the scheme of attack and defense to be employed.
