Show BUILD FEED RACKS Farmers who do not use feed racks can save much money in feed saved by installing racks for their cattle, according to Dr. W. E. Carroll, Car-roll, of the Department of Animal Husbandry, Utah Agricultural College. Col-lege. During the winter. while the ground is covered with snow, and frozen the hay can be hauled out and thrown on the snow. If the animals are not overfed, no hay is wasted. By changing the feeding place from day to day. the field is manured as we. But when the spring starts to break. and the ground becomes soft, feeding racks are indespensabb'. They will pay for themselves in hay saved in a short time. The racks should be portable i so that, as one piece becomes dirty, jthey can be moved to a new spot.
