Paloma stock has gone up as a result re-sult of a strike made a few days ago on the 700 level. Twelve inches ; of ore running high in copper and valued at $141 a ton is said to be showing in the fissure. President Boffett states that ten tons of the ore has been raised from the stope on the 6 00 level and predicts that the company will be earning dividends divi-dends in a short time. "The Antelope Star ore bins are being erected and the management expects to begin hauling first-class lead-silver ore for shipment by the 15th of January. It is stated that in drifting toward the lead-silver fissure a new tunnel fell in with a cross fissure carrying a small streak of high grade copper which is being followed to its intersection with the main vein. "The Creole has consigned three cars of ore to the smelters since the first of the month. Each car is expected ex-pected to net the company about $S00. This will make 83 cars from the Creole this year. Four cars a week is the tonnage toward which the company is striving. About 20 men are employed at the property. |
