Show Dietetic internship completed by Artis Petty Grady 0" J' At graduation ceremonies held Friday, June 2G at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI, Artis ; Petty Grady completed a ten month dietetic internship. Completion of the internship qualifies her for membership in the American Dietetics Association. Mrs. Grady is a graduate of Cedar High School and attended Southern Utah Stata College here. She recieved her bachelor's degree from Brigham Young in 1973. She was employed as a cook for Cedar Manor before going to Rhode Island for her internship. Some of her training has been at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston, Nadek Industries and Tuft College, both in Massachusetts. She has been employed part time as a dietary consultant at Scandinavian Home for the Aged in Cranston, RI since January, j ARTIS PETTY GRADY She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Petty of Cedar City. She is married to Lionel A. Grady. He is employed at WHIM radio in Providence and formerly for-merly with KSUB following his graduation from BYU with a bachelor's degree in communications. com-munications. She is a member of Phi Kappa Phi. The Gradys' plan to return to Cedar City early in July where Mr. Grady has accepted employment em-ployment with KSUB. |
