Show Registration open for 4th of July Parade It's still not too late to register for the King and Queen Contest for the Fourth, of July Parade being sponsored by the Cedar City Lady Lions. Drawing for the winners in the contest will be held Saturday, June 28 at 10:30 a.m. over radio station KSUB. All young boys and girls between bet-ween the ages of 4 and 7 are eligible, according to Sherril Evans, chairman of the contest. Applications will be received through Friday night, June 27. If they are too late to arrive in the mail they should be taken directly to Mrs. Evans, 525 Cedar Wood Terrace. This year's parade theme is "Happy Days of Childhood." Selection of the King and Queen will be by drawing of those, children registered. Drawing will be by last year's king and queen, Tracy Lynn Slack, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Slack and Russell Holyoak, son of Mr. and Mrs. Cullen Holyoak. In order to be eligible a child must be 4 by July 4 and not have turned 7 by the same date. A coupon has been prepared to make entry easier for parents. |
