Show Wildlife Resources schedule annual range rides Spring range rides have already begun in some parts of Utah. Lead by Division of Wildlife Resources conservation officers, U. S. Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management personnel, the yearly rides, and j in some cases walks, are made I to inspect deer winter range on a general basis. j Officers note general range j conditions, problem areas and j general health of deer. They j report observations to the In- teragency Committee - who I passes the information on to the Board of Big Game Control. The range rides are followed later in the spring by more detailed studies to determine deer use in key areas. The public is urged to participate par-ticipate in the rides and discuss their observations with Division officers. Dates of the rides are 1 available at Division offices or from conservation officers. |
